About split pdf
Splitting turns one PDF into several smaller ones. You can produce a separate file for every page, break the document into fixed-size chunks, or define your own ranges such as 1-3, 4-8 and 9.
When the result is more than one file they arrive together in a single zip, so you get one download rather than twenty. A single range comes back as a plain PDF.
This is what you want when a scanner has put twenty invoices into one file, when you need to send someone only the signature page, or when a form has to be submitted a chapter at a time.

How do I extract just one page from a PDF?
Choose Custom ranges and enter the single page number, for example 7. You will get a one-page PDF back. The Extract pages tool does the same thing if you want to pull out several specific pages at once.
What format should the ranges be in?
One range per line. A line can be a single page (5) or a span (2-9). Each line becomes its own PDF file.
Do the split files keep the original quality?
Yes. The pages are copied as they are, so nothing is re-rendered or recompressed.
